An early Japanned Eley Bros "250" count Cap tin box. Circa early 1850s. Labeled after the third brother Henry joined the firm in the late 1840s. The 250 count tins are for the Colt Navy, Dragoon, Army and Police models. Contains the original protection paper inside the tin including about 30 to 40 of the original caps. 6O% of the label and Japanned finish remaining! Very Fine condition!! REF.
