U.S. MODEL 1878 INDAN WARS CANTEEN
Indian Wars / Spanish American War Canteen stainless steel canteen with pewter mouth. Has no sling and only one triangular sling swivel hook. Handmade in the U.S.A. Made by Rock Island Arsenal. Tan canvas with U.S. marking on the canvas. Unit markings / B 19/39”, on the front of canteen and two crossed rifles (Infanntry) and B57 on the back. Metal top of cork construction is damaged. This one was well used to say the least! Good condition.
