CASED FRANK WESSON MEDIUM FRAME POCKET RIFLE
#724. Cal. 32RF. 20" Full Octagonal barrel, spur trigger, square butt and rosewood grips. This is a second model with an iron frame, external push button type half cock and a standard Wesson extractor wich slides in a dovetail along the right side of the barrel. The barrel turns or rotates on its axis to the right to load. It has traces of the original blue, but the main colour is a nice even brown patina. The frame has practically all of the original nickel finish, hammer has 30% colour case. The skeleton type detachable shoulder stock wich numbers to the gun is in perfect condition. Mechanically perfect, the bore is rough. The gun comes in a wooden sectioned case. All serial numbers present and correct! Total production of about 5.000, this one manufactured around 1875-1880.
