COLT MODEL 1884 LIGHTNING MEDIUM FRAME RIFLE
Rifle #51.XXX. Cal.32-20 WCF. Standard 26" Round Barrel". Retaining 65% original blue on barrel and frame, balance is a nice brown patina. Generous traces of colour case present on hammer. Oil stained walnut stocks, checkered fore ends. One tiny chip missing on top of right side ofbarrel near the frame. Mechanically perfect, bore is excellent. Buttstock has some handling marks, dents on the left side. A good honest quality gun, looks better than the pictures! Made in 1891. Total production 89.777. Very fine condition.
