MEXICAN LOOP PATTERN HOLSTER AND HERMAN HEISER BELT

Mexican single loop pattern, hand tooled leather holster with matching cartridge belt for a Colt SIngle Action 4 3/4" inch barrell revolver. The holster and belt are finely hand-carved in a beautiful floral motif. The tooling on the holster is extremely well done, however there is no makers name present, but it is H.H. type No. 710 Mexican Carved. The belt is a Herman Heiser type No.72, it is Hermann Heiser stamped plus the number 44, it has 37 loops for 44/40 WCF ammo. The Hermann H. Heiser Saddlery was established in 1856, incorporated in 1916 and remained in business until 1955. To describe the quality of Heiser leather would be very difficult but this sentence says it all; "No Man Ever Lived Long Enough to Wear Out a Heiser Holster"!! The stamp with the H. H. Heiser Denver Colo. in an oval maker's mark logo would date this rig from 1919 through 1955. This is a beautiful set in an excellent + condition!!
