ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL PATTERN 1885 SABER ATTACHMENT
In 1885 had reverted to the use of a single brass hook attachment with two captive slings. This type of attachment was used until the late 1890's. This one has the numbers 65 86 stamped on both straps. Very fine condition.
